Licensing and license renewal

Atlassian plugins typically have a 30-day free trial period. Afterwards the license might become expired and needs to be renewed.

To renew the license of a plugin for Jira Cloud that you have installed, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Atlassian account: Go to the Atlassian website and log in with the account associated with your Jira Cloud instance.
  1. Access the Manage apps page: Once logged in, navigate to the Jira Cloud instance where you have the plugin installed. Then, go to the “Settings” or “Apps” section, and find the option for “Manage apps” or “Manage apps & integrations”.
  1. Locate the plugin: In the “Manage apps” section, locate the plugin for which you need to renew the license. This should be listed among the installed apps.
  1. Check the license status: Check the current license status of the plugin. It should indicate if the license is expired or nearing expiration.
  1. Renew the license: If the license is expired or nearing expiration, there should be an option to renew it. Click on the option to renew the license, and follow the prompts to complete the renewal process.
  1. Confirm the renewal: After completing the renewal process, you should receive confirmation that the license has been renewed successfully. You may also receive a new license key or an updated expiration date.
  1. Verify license status: Once the renewal is complete, verify that the license status has been updated to reflect the renewed license. It should now show as active or renewed.
